Retd. Govt employee dies in accident, daughter of JK DGP held

The daughter of a senior police officer was arrested here following the death of a retired government servant in a road accident allegedly involving a car driven by her.

This morning, a car hit Inderjeet Padha critically injuring him, a senior police officer said, adding that he was rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) where doctors declared him brought dead.

Later, an FIR was registered at Pacca Danga police station and the daughter of Jammu and Kashmir DGP K Rajendra Kumar, was booked and arrested.
