'Riverdale' season 2 may introduce Toni Topaz
"Boyhood" actress Lorelei Linklater will reportedly join the second season of "Riverdale" as Toni Topaz.
Some leaked footage from the series' audition tape has made its way out online, featuring Lorelei, reported Ace Showbiz.
Toni is one of the characters in the comics, who debuted in "Jughead Double Digest" #176 back in 2012.
She is a bisexual black character with her signature striking pink hair and purple clothing.
In the comics, she met Jughead at a cupcake-eating contest and they bonded over similar personality quirks including a fondness for hats.
Starring KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes, "Riverdale" season 2 premieres on October 11.
