Rly police constable injured in militant attack

A railway police constable was today injured in a grenade attack by unidentified militants on a railway track in south Kashmir Pulwama district, police said.

The militants hurled a grenade towards the railway track at Malangpora in Pulwama district, 32 kms from here, at around 4.15 pm, a police official said.

A constable of railway police, Mukhtar Ahmad, sustained minor injuries in the blast, the official said, adding, the injured cop was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
