Two persons, including a 9-year-old girl, were killed when the roof of an under-construction house collapsed in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district today.
Mohammed Sadiq, a labourer, and Tanya Banoo, aged nine, were killed when a portion of the roof caved in in Nowtas village in Thathri belt, SSP (Doda) Arif Reshu said.
Some people had assembled on the roof-top when it collapsed, he said.
The bodies were handed over to the family for last rites after legal formalities, the SSP said.
