Rs 1 lakh cash stolen from temple hundi

: About Rs one lakh cash was found stolen from the hundi of the Kaliamman temple at Thathagaptty in the district today, police said.

Devotees noticed the locks of the main gate broken and the temple hundi removed from its base and informed police.

Temple officials suspect that someone who knew about the cash collection could have done it.
