Rs 31 lakh looted from bank Cash Van

Armed men today looted Rs 31 lakh from a Cash Van of a nationalised bank injuring a security guard here, police said.

Six armed men on a jeep intercepted the Cash Van on its way to Muzaffarpur from Chapra at the Reva bridge under Saraiya Police Station. They shot at the security guard and looted the cash, they said.

The injured security guard was admitted to a hospital while the raids were being carried out to arrest the looters.
