Rs 50,000 cash, belongings robbed from room in pvt hospital

: A bag containing Rs 50,000 cash, some documents and an ATM card was stolen from a room in a private hospital by an unidentified person today, police said.

They said the person had been identified after CCTV footage was examined.

The hospital management had lodged a complaint that the man had entered the room of the male patient and stolen the cash and other belongings, while he and his wife were asleep, police said.

A search was on to nab the person, they said.
