RSP wins 23 prizes, 3 trophies in All India Rose Show

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has won 23 prizes and 3 trophies in the All India Rose Show organised by Bengal Rose Society and All India Rose Federation in Kolkata.

Roses of RSP won 5 first prizes, 6 second and 12 third prizes apart from trophies for Best White Rose, Best Yellow Rose and Best Colour blend rose at the show held from January 5 to 7, a release from RSP said today.

West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathy inaugurated the show. Kelvin Trimper, president of World Federation of Rose Society were present on the occasion.

P Sahoo, deputy manager (horticulture) and his team received the awards on behalf of RSP, it said.
 

P.K.Pradhan, ED (P&A) met the employees of the horticulture unit today and congratulated them.
