Rains lash Kolkata, large parts of West Bengal

Rains lashed large parts of West Bengal and Kolkata today bringing respite from heat.

Kolkata received 20.7 mm rainfall, while Burdwan received 69 mm rains till the evening, the MeT department said.

The maximum temperature in Kolkata was 30.2 degrees Celsius the minimum was 20.7 degrees Celsius.

The weatherman has predicted widespread rainfall across Gangetic West Bengal tomorrow.
