Sant elected as SJAM president

All the other office-bearers, barring joint secretary Anand Naik who edged out Mufeed Rizvi in a straight two-way contest 26-24, were elected unopposed for a three-year term (2012-15).

Also elected unopposed were five executive committee members.

The AGM also nominated senior scribe Ayaz Memon as the chairman of its proposed golden jubilee committee.
