Saria, other steel prices remain steady on tight movements

Steady conditions prevailed at the local steel market today as saria and other steel prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around the previous levels.

Traders said lack of worthwhile activity by construction units against adequate stocks position mainly kept steel prices steady.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 48,600, 10-mm Rs 48,100, 12-mm Rs 45,700, 16-25 mm Rs 46,400.

Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,700, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm Rs 42,400, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
