Second swine flue death in Bilaspur confirmed

CIMS authorities said P Jaiswal, a resident of Tifra region, had been admitted in critical condition, and died on the same day.

A laboratory report from Delhi today confirmed that it was a swine flu death, they said.

Earlier this year, a 51-year-old woman had died of swine flu on August 31 here.

Two other swine flu patients from the district were treated and discharged.
