Select copper edge lower on listless trade

Select copper edged lower in an otherwise listless non-ferrous metal market here today on stockist selling amid lower demand from consumer industries.

While, zinc moved up on mild offtake from alloy industries.

Copper scrap heavy slipped Rs 2 per kg to Rs 395 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 397.

Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar also softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 403 and Rs 431 respectively.

However, zinc inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 235.
