A special self-defence training camp for police constables has been organised at Kanpur police line here.
Both men and women police constables are being trained in various self-defence techniques including how to fight miscreants without their service rifles, SSP K Emanuel today said in a statement here.
The training is being given by self-defence expert Abhishek Yadav to 15 women constables and 35 men constables everyday, he said.
The camp, which started yesterday, will continue for the next three days after which these constables will impart self-defence training to other police personnel in the state, the SSP said.
