Senior Indian official meets Nepal Army Chief

A senior Indian official today met Nepal Army Chief to discuss matters relating to bilateral mutual cooperation between the two armies.

Abhaya Thakur, Joint Secretary, North, Ministry of External Affairs, met Chief of Army Staff of Nepal General Gaurav Shumsher Rana at Nepal Army Headquarters in here.

During the meeting, they held discussion on ongoing military cooperation between Nepal Army and Indian Army, and matters relating to bilateral mutual cooperation between the two armies, according to Nepal Army Headquarters sources.

Thakur arrived in Kathmandu yesterday leading a military delegation to participate in two-day 'Nepal-India Bilateral Consultative Group Meeting on Security Issues' that started today.
 

The bilateral security meeting between the two countries will conclude tomorrow.
