Seven liquor smugglers arrested

Police and excise department teams today arrested seven liquor smugglers in separate raids here and seized illegal liquor from them.

On complaints of local residents, a person was arrested from Bisrakh area here and 20 cartons of liquor were seized from him, District Excise Officer Kuldeep Yadav said today.

In Dadri, police held one person from Badpura village and seized 15 cartons of smuggled liquor, he said.

While four persons were arrested in Surajpur with 166 bottles, a person was nabbed in Jarcha with 46 bottles of smuggled liquor, Yadav said.
