Seven Palestinians killed by Israeli fire in Gaza border clashes: ministry

Seven Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire on the Gaza border today, the Gazan health ministry said, as mass protests and clashes erupted against the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem.

The seven were shot dead by Israeli forces, the ministry said, as violent clashes broke out in five spots along the border in protest at the embassy move.

More than 500 were injured, the ministry added. One of the dead was 14 years old, it said.
