"Shivalik Showers" won The Nilgiris Gold Cup, the main event of the 14th day of Udhagamandalam races 2017 here today.
The winner, owned by G Shewakramani, Vikram Singh and Kishore M Dingra was ridden by A Imran Khan and trained by JE Mckeown.
Jockey Akshay Kumar rode two winners while B Suresh and R Foley saddled two winners each.
Three favourites obliged in a card of eight events.
