Six persons including a woman died as a truck overturned near Kondramutla village in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh today, police said.
On a small ghat section near Kodramutla, some 150 km from here, the truck driver took a sharp turn to avoid an oncoming two-wheeler. However he could not negotiate the curve and the truck turned turtle.
The driver, a cleaner and three locals who were travelling with them in the truck's cabin died on the spot.

The two persons on the two-wheeler -- a man and a woman who was riding pillion -- were injured and taken to Vinukonda government hospital by the police. The woman, identified as Movva Anjamma (47), died during the treatment.
Police sub-inspector from Epuru police station Vijay Kiran told PTI over phone that the truck which was carrying fertiliser was heading from Epuru to Badampalli in Prakasam district.
Superintendent of Police Narayana Naik visited the accident spot in the evening. The driver and others who were travelling in the truck's cabin had not been identified yet, Kiran added.
