Vehicle kills woman on Yamuna Expressway

A 50-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Yamuna Expressway while she was crossing the road, police said today.

The accident took place last night when the woman, returning from Delhi, got off a bus and was crossing the expressway.

The victim was identified as Basanti, a resident of Rabupura.

An expressway PCR van rushed the woman to a hospital but he died on the way. She was declared brought dead at the hospital, police said.
