Six new dengue patients in Indore, total 44 cases this year

With six fresh dengue cases reported in the city, the total number of patients affected with the vector-borne disease has gone up to 44 this year, officials said.

"Based on the report given by a local laboratory, another six people, including four women, tested positive for dengue," a health department official said.

Of these, a 32-year-old man is undergoing treatment at a private hospital here, while others have already been treated and discharged, he added.

According to officials, since January 1, as many as 44 patients tested positive for dengue.
