Six teachers suspended in J-K

The decision was taken following a surprise visit by Director School Education, Jammu Gulzar Qureshi to various schools in different areas of the district yesterday, an education department official said.

The teachers were suspended for being absent without seeking permission from concerned authorities and dereliction of duty, he said.
