Southern Railway today announced cancellation of ten passenger trains to various destinations in southern districts of Tamil Nadu on Saturdays and Sundays for three months from June 27 to facilitate maintenance of track and bridges in Madurai Division.
According to a railway release, the trains will be cancelled from June 27 to September 27, 2015.
The cancelled trains are: Tiruchchirappalli-Karaikkudi (Saturdays), Tiruchchirappalli-Manamadurai, Sengottai-Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli-Tuticorin and Tirunelveli - Sengottai (both directions on Sundays) and Karaikkudi -Tiruchchirappalli (Sundays).
