Soybean prices rose by Rs 14 to Rs 3,620 per quintal in futures trade Tuesday due to uptick in domestic and exports demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), soybean contracts for July delivery gained Rs 14, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 3,620 per quintal with an open interest of 2,340 lots.

Soybean contracts for August delivery also rose by Rs 9, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 3,655 per quintal in 68,320 lots.

Marketmen said fresh positions created by participants following a surge in domestic as well as exports demand pushed up soybean prices in futures trade here.
