SP MLA accuses Ballia officials of corruption

Alleging that "corruption was at its peak" in the district, ruling Samajwadi Party MLA Mohammad Rizvi said that officers were not paying heed to the party workers.

"The corruption is at its peak in the district. Officers are not paying heed to party workers. While BSP men are getting their works done by paying bribe, SP workers are a neglected lot," Rizvi told reporters here yesterday.

He said that such situation would not be tolerated and in July they would gherao Sikandarpur tehsil.
