Special fare train to be operated between Vijayawada-Madurai

The Southern Railway will operate a special fare train between Vijayawada and Madurai on January 16, to clear the extra rush of traffic.

According to a press release here, the special fare special train will leave Vijayawada at 7 hrs on January 16, (and run via Chennai Egmore, from where it will depart at 4.30 hrs on January 16), and reach Madurai at 1 hrs on January 17.

This train will have two AC 3-tier and 13 Sleeper Class coaches.
