Stalin meets injured IIT research scholar

DMK Working President MK Stalin today met the IIT-Madras PhD scholar who was attacked allegedly by some students protesting against a 'beef fest' held on the campus.

Stalin met R Sooraj at a private hospital here, a DMK release said.

He enquired with doctors the medical treatment being provided to the student, it said.

Sooraj was injured in his right eye when he was attacked allegedly by some students for attending the 'beef fest' on Sunday.
