Mizoram Information and Communication Technology Minister Lal Thanzara today said that the state has being implementing State Delivery Gateway (SSDG) and State Portal (SP) and would be completed within the current year.
Addressing the Award distribution ceremony of e-North East Award 2014 Summit here, Lal Thanzara said that the state government was also implementing different IT projects like the State Wide Area Network (SWAN), State Data Centre (SDC), Common Service Centre (CSC), e-District Pilot Project in Aizawl district, Value Added Tax (VAT) Collection System and VAHAN - Vehicle Registration System and Sarathi.
He expressed the hope that enterprising youths in the region would soon make the north east a destination for IT hub in the country soon.
The e-North east Award was awarded to 10 agencies and government departments while eight special mentions were also distributed.
