Strides Shasun appoints S Abhaya Kumar as ED

Drug firm Strides Shasun Ltd has appointed S Abhaya Kumar as the Executive Director of the company.

"S Abhaya Kumar has been appointed as Executive Director of the company with effect from November 19, 2015," Strides said in a filing to BSE.

Kumar was the Founder and Managing Director of erstwhile Shasun Pharmaceuticals and in the last three decades played a strategic role nurturing growth of Shasun, it added.

Yesterday in a filing to the bourses, Strides Arcolab had said that the name of the company has changed to Strides Shasun Ltd.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,367.95 per scrip, down 0.44 per cent, on BSE.
