Student beaten up by teacher

District School Inspector Akhilesh Kumar said an investigation has already begun following the incident which occurred at a school situated near the main road here.

And the guilty would be punished, he added.

According to sources in the school, the student of a primary class suffered injuries in his hand after being beaten up by the teacher for poor attendance.
