Student downs in swimming pool

A first year MSc student today drowned in a swimming pool here at Hedua area, police said.

Sangita Das, was learning swimming for last few days. Today in the morning when she along with her elder sister got into the pool, she entered the deeper side meant for seasoned swimmers, they said.

An hour later her body was found floating, police said adding an investigation into the incident has been launched.
