: Three students, who went to a liqour shop here in their uniforms, for a quick sip, were taken into custody by police.
The trio, students of a private computer education institution, visited a liqour shop at nearby Kaloor around 3-00 PM yesterday, taking by surprise those standing nearby, who immediately informed police.
A flying squad immediately rushed to the spot and took the three into custody. Their parents were informed and a lecture on the harmful effects of liqour given to them, after which they were allowed to leave.
Police said since the three were aged more than 21 years of age, no case was registered.
