Sugar rebounds on heavy seasonal demand

Medium sugar (M-30) spurted by Rs 20/50 per quintal to Rs 3,546/3,711 from overnight closing level of Rs 3,526/3,661.

Small Sugar (S-30) also went up by Rs 30/40 per quintal to Rs 3,482/3,552 as against Rs 3,452/3,512 yesterday.

The following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,546/3,711 (Rs 3,526/3,661).

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,482/3,552 (Rs 3,452/3,512).
