Suspended IPS officer challenges CAT order in Madras HC

Suspended IPS G today approached the challenging a order upholding a charge memo issued by the pursuant to his alleged deposition before a committee appointed to probe the betting case.

Though the inquiry was proceeded with as per the orders passed by CAT, the charges were framed without authority of law and against the dictum laid down by the Supreme Court, he submitted.
