Sutlej Textiles and Industries today said its net profit has increased by 61.47 per cent to Rs 39.90 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had a net profit of Rs 24.71 crore in the same period last fiscal, Sutlej Textiles said in a statement.
Total income also rose to Rs 463.81 crore for the third quarter as against Rs 409.12 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Shares of Sutlej Textiles today closed at Rs 219.80 on BSE, up 6.78 per cent from its previous close.
