T Murthy is new TN Chief Postmaster General

: T Murthy, a 1981 cadre Indian Postal service officer, has been appointed as the Chief Postmaster General, Tamil Nadu circle with immediate effect.

Prior to this, he was serving as Chief Postmaster General, Assam Circle, a PIB statement said.

Murthy in his 33 years experience has held various posts in West Bengal, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Assam and at postal headquarters in New Delhi.

He also worked as Financial Advisor to Chief Postmaster of Small Savings, Government of Tamil Nadu, the release added.
