Tata Steel donates Rs 10 lakh to Subarnarekha Burning Ghat

Tata Steel today donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh to Subarnarekha Burning Ghat, a non-profit organization providing funeral facility for the residents of the steel city.

Aimed at upgradation of the existing anti-pollution units, the private steel major already donated Rs 49 lakh towards installation of third Electric Furnace at Subarnarekha Burning Ghat.

Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice-President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel handed over the cheque of Rs 10 lakh to the NGO members today.
