Tea Tourism Festival inaugurated
The Tea Tourism Festival was inaugurated here today by Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) acting chief Ramesh Alley.
The festival would continue till January 1, 2014.
Darjeeling District Magistrate Punit Yadav, and the MLAs of Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Kurseong were present on the inaugural ceremony.
The festival is sponsored by the GTA, West Bengal government and the local tea gardens.
