Teacher held for misbehaving with girl students

A private school teacher was taken into custody today for allegedly misbehaving with girl students, police said.

Following a complaint by the parents of some girl students, Alwal Police booked a case against the teacher, identified as Ramaswamy, on the charge of outraging modesty of women and picked him up for questioning, they said.

The teacher was accused of misbehaving with the girls studying in the schools for past few months within the school premises, police said quoting the complaint.
