Teacher shot dead

A 40-year-old teacher was shot

dead allegedly by unidentified persons at Majadia in Bihar's Katihar district.

Hashim Alam (40) was murdered while he was on way home on foot last night, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Kumar said.

Alam was a teacher of an upgraded secondary school, Kumar said.
