Teenaged girl gangraped in UP, 3 arrested

A 16-year-old girl was gangraped by three persons at her home in Tana village of Shamli district, police said today.

The three accused identified as Vipin, Monu and Ravi were today arrested from Kandhla railway station of the district when they were trying to escape to Delhi.

The medical report of the victim, who was assaulted on May 20, confirmed rape.

The accused were produced at a local court which sent them to 14 days judicial custody.
