Teenager arrested for raping minor girl

A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a teenage boy at a village in Salempur area here, police said today.

The alleged incident took place on April 22, when the girl was playing outside her house. Her neighbour, a class 10th student took her to a secluded place and raped her, Superintendent of Police, Prabhakar Chowdhury said.

The accused has been arrested and a case has been registered under section 376 (Punishment for rape) of IPC.
