Ten members of marriage party killed in Jharkhand

Ten members of a marriage party, including the bride and the groom, were killed and four others seriously injured when their vehicle collided with a truck on a road near Domarthar in Deogarh district today.

A speeding truck coming from opposite direction rammed into the vehicle in which the marriage party was returning to their native place at Andrigadar from Mohanpur after the wedding ceremony last night, Superintendent of Police P Murugan said.

Ten persons, including the bride and the groom, died on the spot, he said, adding the four injured were immediately shifted to the Deoghar Sadar Hospital.
