Ten police personnel killed as van falls in a well

"Six of the 10 Gujarat police personnel who died in the accident were women. Four cops have been rescued so far," Jhalod police inspector A B Nagori told PTI.

"The driver of the police van suffered heart attack, lost control of the steering and the vehicle slipped into a well when they were returning from Jhalod to district police headquarters in Dahod after bandobast at Chief Minister Narendra Modi's public rally," Nagori added.

Police and emergency teams along with fire brigade officials helped in pulling out the police personnel and the vehicle from the well.
