Governor-designate of Tripura Tathagata Roy will take oath of office tomorrow at the Raj Bhavan, an official said today.
Roy was received at the Agartala airport by Tripura Chief Secretary Y P Singh, Director General of Police K Nagraj and Secretary to the Governor, Shantanu Das and other officials.
He was given a guard of honour on his arrival here today.
Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and his cabinet colleagues, Mayor of Agartala Prafullajit Sinha and Chairman of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), Ranjit Debbarma received him at the Raj Bhavan.
Nagaland's Governor P B Acharya, who was holding the charge of Tripura, was given a farewell by the chief minister and his cabinet colleagues yesterday.
