A thief clicked a picture with a stolen mobile phone only to ask for trouble.
Due to a technology feature enabled on the phone, the picture was e-mailed to the owner, Sangeeta Aggarwal.
The police were informed and the phone was recovered.
The thief, however, is on the run.
Aggarwal said her phone was stolen on board a bus on November 2. The next day, she found a picture of an unidentified man in her e-mail inbox.
She approached the police and a case was registered at the Daryaganj police station.
The accused was identified as Naseem Mohd. The phone was recovered from his house, the police said.
