Three youth were killed and four others sustained serious injuries when the 'tazia' they were carrying came in contact with a high tension wire in Zindapur village here, police said.
The incident took place Friday night when the youth were carrying the 'tazia' atop a tractor trolley on the occasion of Moharram, DySP, Sikanderpur Vinay Yadav said Saturday.
While Imran Khan (16), Salim (18) and Shani Khan (22) died in the incident, four others received serious burns and were admitted to district hospital, Yadav added.
