Three held for possession of over 4 kg ganja

Three persons, including a woman, were arrested in the district for possessing around four kg of ganja, police said today.

According to a police spokesperson, the crime branch of NIT police received information yesterday that three persons were coming to sell ganja in the district.

Acting on the tip-off, police nabbed the three and recovered 4.4 kg of ganja from their possession. The accused have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
