Three minor boys were drowned in a pond while they were taking bath at Mahathi village under Tisiauta police station of Bihar's Vaishali district today, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Kishan Paswan (08), Ajit Paswan (10) and Aman Paswan (10), Tisiauta police station SHO Rajiv Nayan said.
The incident occurred when all the three children went to take bath after playing near the pond, he said, adding, the minors slipped into deep waters and met their watery grave.
The family members of the deceased started searching for them when the children did not return home late evening, SHO said and added that family members found clothes of children lying near the pond.
The bodies have been fished out and a postmortem will be conducted tomorrow, he said.
