Three minor boys have been arrested for allegedly killing a 65-year-old woman at a remote village near here, police said on Wednesday.
Aisha Bano, a labourer was killed in her house near Popu-II village on the intervening night of September 4 and 5, and her husband grievously injured, when a group of three boys attacked them, they said.
Capital SP M Harsh Vardhan said while two of the accused were apprehended from various locations of the state capital in the past few days, the third one was arrested from Lichi village in the border of Lower Subansiri and Papum Pare districts.
The trio admitted to have committed the crime with the intention to commit robbery, he added.
